Gingham Dog and Calico Cat PDF Quilt Pattern Dog and Cat silhouette applique Crib or Toddler Bed Quilt

This PDF quilt pattern makes a generous crib / toddler bed quilt at 43" x 54.5". There are suggestions for ways to size the quilt up if you prefer a larger quilt.

The pattern includes three dog and two cat applique templates, a quilt layout diagram and a quilt coloring page along with instructions and fabric requirements for the toddler bed quilt.

Use a bundle of fat eighths (there will be leftovers for another project) or a combination of fat eighths and 2.5" strips to make your quilt. (You could even ad 10" squares to the mix.)

You will also need fusible web to applique the dogs and cats.

You are purchasing a pattern (not a finished quilt.) You will be able to download your PDF pattern immediately after payment. You will need the free Adobe Reader software to open and read the file.

The sample quilt was made with "April Showers" fabric designed by Bonnie and Camille for Moda.

Fabric Requirements:

- One fat eighths bundle (you will have left overs) or a combination of fat eighths and 2 ½” strips.

Note: The dogs and cats need fabric 9” wide so you could use layer cake squares (10” squares) as well but if you only have one layer cake you may possibly not have enough gingham and/or calico prints to make all the animals.

- ¾ yard of white background fabric

- ½ yard of outer border fabric

- ½ yard of binding fabric - 1 5/8 yard of backing and binding

- 2 ¼ yard of 12” wide Steam a Seam fusible web or light weight fusible of your choice (you may possibly be able to find fusible sheets that can go through your printer and eliminate tracing your animals on the fusible)
