Modern Plus Quilt PDF pattern, Charm Pack Quilt Pattern

Make this modern plus quilt! This pattern has one quilt with options to make it two different ways. Use up charm packs in your stash. Beginner quilter and charm pack friendly!

Make version 1 with 180 charm squares or version 2 with 60 charm squares and yardage.

I designed this pattern because I wanted to use the charm packs that I accumulated in my stash and sew them into quick, easy quilts with very little waste.

These quilts have a modern look and are beginner friendly. If you can sew a straight line on a sewing machine you can make these quilts.

Pattern is for a 48" x 60" throw quilt with additional ideas and sizing options in the pattern.

Supplies needed for throw size:

Version 1:

• 5 charm packs or 180 charm squares

• Backing 3 yards if pieced with horizontal seam (4 yards if pieced with vertical seam)

• Binding .5 yard cut into six 2.5” x WOF strips Version 2:

• 60 charm squares

• Background 2 yards

• Backing 3 yards if pieced with horizontal seam (4 yards if pieced with vertical seam)

• Binding .5 yard cut into six 2.5” x WOF strips Thread, cutting mat, ruler and rotary cutter

Optional supplies: 12.5 inch square ruler 4.5 inch square ruler Rotating cutting mat
