Quick Strip Pieced Quilt, Glitched on Loading Quilt Pattern, PDF Quilt Pattern, Large Throw and Small Throw Sizes

This is a fun modern spin-off of the traditional “Around the World” quilt. One of the blocks is “glitched on loading” (a computer issue many of us have run into at one time or another.)

There are two size options in this pattern: 54” square (small throw) or 72” square (large throw).

This quilt is strip pieced to save time and fabric. Strips will be sewn together and then cross-cut.

Fabric Requirements:

Small Throw Size 54”                      Large Throw Size 72”

Background 2 ¼ yards                  3 ½ yards

Dark Orange ¾ yard                     1 ¼ yards

Medium Orange ½ yard               1 yard

Olive ½ yard                                  ¾ yard

Blue ¼ yard                                   ½ yard

Yellow 1/8 yard                              ¼ yard (or 1 – 2.5” x WOF strip)

Backing 3.5 yards                           4.5 yards

Binding ½ yard (6 – 2.5” strips)     ½ yard (8 – 2.5” strips)

Batting At least 62” square            At least 80” square
