Sail Boat Quilt Pattern, Large Throw PDF Pattern

The "Sail Boat" quilt pattern. This is a PDF pattern that includes instructions to make a throw quilt that finishes up at a good size at 64" x 76"

The pattern includes 8 pages with written instructions, computer generated diagrams and colour photos.

This is a great pattern for using up a charm pack on the sails of the quilt blocks. **Note: this pattern is available free to subscribers on my Makers email list.**

Fabric Requirements:

2.5 yards of solid white background fabric (or colour of your choice)

30 charm squares for half-square-triangles for sails (makes 60 sails)

1/8 yard of black for masts (or scraps)

1 yard of fabric for boats or 20 - 3 ½ x 12 ½” rectangles (I cut mine from fat eighths)

1 ¼ yard fabric for horizontal sashing

1 ½ yard fabric for border

½ yard fabric for binding

5 yards for backing

batting (2.5 yards)
