The "Featured in the Stars" quilt pattern. This is a PDF pattern that includes instructions to make a 36" x 48" baby quilt and a 60" x 72" throw quilt.

The pattern includes 11 pages with written instructions, computer generated diagrams and colour photos. This is a great pattern for featuring special fabrics in the centres of the quilt blocks.

Fabric Requirements:

Baby Quilt Fabric Requirements:

12 – 7 ½” feature squares (or ¾ of a yard)

1 ½ yard of background fabric

1 yard total of your chosen colour to coordinate with feature squares (you can choose fat quarters of different prints of the same colour if you like)

½ yard of binding fabric

1 ½ yard of backing fabric

40” x 52” piece of batting Fabric

Requirements for the Large Throw Quilt

2 ½ yards of background fabric (you may wish to buy 3 yards in case of a mis-cut)

30 – 7 ½” feature squares (or 1 ½ yards of feature fabric)

30 – fat eighths or 15 fat quarters for the star points and corner HSTs

½ yard of binding

4 ½ yards of backing fabric

68” x 80” batting (or twin sized batting)
