Yarn Quilt Pattern

This modern quilt pattern gives instructions for creating the quilt top and includes a quilt diagram, cutting instructions and suggestions for choosing fabrics. 

There are nine pages including instructions, photos of the sample quilt, digital diagrams and binding instructions. This is a lap quilt at 60 x 72  inches. It can be made bigger by adding borders if you wish. This project is quick to make and a great scrap buster! Very easy for a beginner quilt. A fast quilt for an experienced quilter.

Background fabric: 3 ½ yards
Various fat quarters or fat eighths for yarn units: 1 and 5/8 yard total
Various fat quarters or scraps for yarn bands: 5/8 yard total
Binding: ½ yard
Optional Purl panel
Backing: 4 yards (possibly more if sending out for machine quilting)
Batting: 2 yards of 95” wide batting
